Two things inspired me to start this blog, the theme ‘ideas for future’ & DISHA DIRECT’s journey of eight years. They made me reconnect with my decisive years … a time when I and my small team of 4 people started this journey with an undying passion for innovation.

Futuristic ideas and innovations have been the pillars of success for Disha Direct. And no better tagline than ‘Ideas for Future’ could have brought together this essence of business at Disha Direct. And now, I feel this tag identifies with so many things like our evolving lives, various business developments, solutions to different situations & more. I really think this blog is going to be one of my most interesting tasks ever because I already have so many topics playing on my mind to...

‘Ideas for future’ is my passion. And when it comes to listing down the people who have set examples with futuristic ideas and innovations, Steve Jobs tops the list.

Just a few days back we lost this powerhouse of innovation. Steve Jobs was an extraordinary man who built Apple into an extraordinary company. He was an innovator who always focused on presenting great products keeping customers in mind. He stopped at nothing. He too met failures but he accepted them, analysed them and came up with some incredible new products. And as he quotes ‘Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works’. Be it ipod, ipad, I MAC or iphone he, through his finest possible consumer products, has each time revolutionized the industry.

The Year 2011 was one of the most happening year in Indian History…full of scams….politicians and corporate leaders going to jail…the high inflation rate and the number of hikes in interest rate from RBI…the industrial slowdown in India…the Anna Hazare Movement, which got tremendous support from common people…The Lokpal bill…the World Cup win…..the list is endless….

With all these events the year 2012 has arrived with many challenges and uncertainty, due to which everyone is confused and concerned about the future. But I am very optimistic about this year.  This year has arrived with lot of hopes and promises and I am sure this year will be one of the best for India. My optimistic thinking is backed by many things. The...

*Thud Thud* *Woosh* *Screech* *Ghooouunnnnnn* *Abhe jaldi light laga na*

These were the enlightened sounds of a pre-event. An event which I was informed about being India’s one of the most Spectacular Property festivals.

I was told the event reached the grandeur of platforms. And at that moment all I said to myself was ‘Yeah right. A humungous property festival?’
By saying that my friends I have very much enrolled a form for the certification of a ‘Dumb ass’.
Because when I visited the site at Bandra Kurla Complex, a place where I normally pass by. Where there is nothing there apart from a flat piece of monstrous land. So I thought what would they possibly build

The human civilization has evolved. The greed also has evolved. And so has the Demand. And now every economist will tell you, even the supply. And as time has shown we continue to evolve.

But now. . (movie trailer voice) IN THE FUTURE OF EVOLUTION (back to normal tone) I do not mean that we will grow another head or actually have eyes on the back of the head (I am not talking about salman goggs here)

Not due to parking problems at ground lever but because future of commute demands air borne cars. A leading auto manufacture in US has already begun mass production of flying cars and given the amount of
billionaires we have in our country, we shall have thousands very soon. To cope up for parking of such vehicles, i hope some builder with futuristic vision actually make provisions immediately.
